Background

✓ Born in Santiago, Chile and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Dr. Rauchwerger came to the U.S. in 1996 to earn his Master’s degree and Certificate in Prosthodontics in Boston, MA. Then he moved to Florida where he completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

✓ Dr. Rauchwerger has been in private practice since 2005. He served as a faculty member at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine from 1999 to 2008 and as an adjunct professor from 2008 to 2012. He has presented a variety of lectures to dentists at many conferences since 2000, both locally and internationally. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists.

Meet Dr. Margarita Vasserman

Dr. Margarita Vasserman, DDS earned her doctorate in dentistry from NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Vasserman is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry from adult to pediatric modalities.

Dr. Vasserman believes in a conservative approach to dental care and values the importance of educating patients about their oral health and overall wellbeing. She combines her artistic talent and attention to detail with empathy and compassion, allowing her to provide the most optimal high quality care for her patients. She and her husband have two children. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, preparing different culinary cuisines, doing arts and crafts with the kids, fitness training and having fun swimming at the beach with her family.

Meet The Staff

Camille O’Connor

Dental Hygienist

Camille graduated from Miami Dade Medical Campus for Hygiene in 1996 with her degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She worked in Miami for six years, in soft tissue management.

Camille now lives in Wellington and has been with Smile Designs since 2007. Her great rapport and gentle touch make her very popular with her patients.

Camille visits area preschools and elementary schools during dental hygiene month to educate children about the importance of good dental hygiene and what to expect when they go to the dentist.

To maintain up-to-date on the latest advances in dental hygiene, Camille attends courses each year. This allows her to provide the best possible care for her patients.

Jill Coon

Office Manager

Jill Coon is a registered dental hygienist and has run dental practices across the country both in person and virtually. She has been in the dental field for over 37 years.

Jill enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, travelling, gourmet cooking and watching her daughter perform as a local country singer-songwritwer.
