What we actually offer

At Smile Designs, Dr. Margarita administers wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers, the same treatments you'd find at a med spa or dermatologist's office, in the same practice where you come for your dental care.

Wrinkle relaxers: Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin. These temporarily relax the muscles responsible for fine lines and wrinkles. Forehead creases, crow's feet, frown lines between the brows. Results typically appear within a few days and last three to four months. The treatment takes minutes and requires no downtime.

Dermal fillers. Where wrinkle relaxers soften movement, fillers restore volume. Lips, cheeks, jawline definition, areas that lose fullness over time. The goal is always the same: subtle, natural, and proportional to your face.

Hylenex dissolver. If you've had filler placed somewhere else and aren't happy with the result, Hylenex can dissolve it. It's a detail worth knowing, and one that not every provider offers.

It's not just cosmetic

One of the more surprising things about offering Botox in a dental setting is that some of its most meaningful uses are therapeutic, not cosmetic.

Wrinkle relaxers can be used to treat TMJ-related tension, the jaw clenching and teeth grinding that causes headaches, jaw pain, and accelerated tooth wear. If you've ever been told you grind your teeth at night, Botox injected into the masseter muscle can significantly reduce that tension.

It can also be used for gummy smile correction, softening the muscle that causes the upper lip to rise too high when smiling, and for chin dimpling and what's often called a sad smile line. These aren't vanity concerns. They're things people notice in photos, in mirrors, in moments that matter to them.
